Three related artworks located on the first floor of the Bloorview Kid's Rehab connect the interior of the building to the surrounding natural environment. The sandblasted slate "Landmarks" installation is based on an excerpt from a topographical map showing the ravine topography of Bloorview's site. The lower area incorporates small carvings of objects, both natural and cultural, that might be found in the ravine which are designed to be used for making rubbings. |
